Can everyone be totally honest. I wnat to know whether its worth forking out a load of dosh on a really expensive hair product.
My hair is a little frizzy and wavy, and i would love to get really shiny hair without any frizz.
I was thinking of trying the tigi range but again its very pricey if the stuff doesnt work on my hair.Do you use expensive salon shampoo or ordinary shampoo from boots, superdrug?
To be honest its what ever is on special offer at the time. Just now its TreSemme since it was BOGOF at tescos a few weeks ago!!Do you use expensive salon shampoo or ordinary shampoo from boots, superdrug?
I use the Aussie range, before using that one i would often try using different brands to find the right one,but have stuck to this for a couple years now x
It really depends on your hair. I use a little bit of everything. Sometimes I'll go with the expensive stuff, but usually I don't see much difference in my hair. My stylist says differently. I doubt you'll find products that will make your hair shiny and take away frizz without having to do some heat styling as well (blow-out, straightener, etc.). Try to get stuff without alcohol (very hard--apparently cetyl and ceteryl alcohol are okay because they are made from plants). Use shine serum (John Freida's pretty good). Other than that, good luck.
i swear by pantene restoratives. my hair is so much healthier now, and looks so shiny. you can get it at wal mart for like 4.00. i love it
I use Head and Shoulders and Clinique alternately as I have a very sensitive scalp.
Try this:

It works great on frizz and shine. It's also like a leave in conditioner. It's only like $3 at target or walmart.
I used to use salon stuff, but i like aussie. It does the same thing for like $10 cheaper.
im a guy and i could honestly care less about my hair.... but alot of women tell me my hair is beautiful. all i do it use two shampoos in alternating patterns. one day i use the grren label head and shoulders. i dont have dandruff anymore but i love that stuff... except if it goes in your eyes its like lava. and the next day i use bed head... has menthol in it so i like to think im doing something good for me scalp. then the next i use the head and shoulders again i usually wash my hair every day except for like saturday or sunday. but my hair is alright.
I use a product called natures organic as it works for me, it isnt too pricey either, to control frizz try some serum combed through wet hair and let dry naturally, lovely glossy finish.
I have the same kind of hair and i like to use Aussie shampoo: The commercials with the kangaroo! I use ';catch the wave'; and ';sun touched shine'; they both work great.
i use herbal essences, stocked up with like 10 bottles when it was on sail in dunnes
my hair's not frizzy at all, no matter what shampoo i use...
normal everyday stuff.
Hmm...
I don't know...
I've never used anything pricey for my hair. Cus as long as I wash it and treat it well it looks lovely, even without the expensive hair products...
You could try Tressemme...or Pantene..or Herbal Essences...if u want to...xxx
If your hair is frizzy, try putting a little serum on after you have washed it. This will also help the shine.
I've tried various salon recommended products which were ok but have discovered Original Source Almond and Coconut shampoo and conditioner. It's on half price offer (98p each) at Tesco at the mo, and i would highly recommend it as i have the dreaded fizzy wavy hair too and it tames it no problem. I noticed on the bottle, if you go to the website www.original source.co.uk they will send you a free sample. Ps it smells divine too!
