matrix is bestWhat is a good shampoo that isnt expensive and is goof for thick dull dry hair?PLEASE ANSWER!!!!?
Paul Mitchell is very good for thick, dull, dry hair. For something cheaper, you could head over to your local drugstore and get Herbal Essences, Dove, etc. If you have some money to splurge, Pureology is extremely good.
i have extremely thick hair, but it has never been dull or dry.. BECAUSE i use hello hydration shampoo from herbal essences. it is in a blue bottle, the shampoo and conditioner adds up to about 6 dollars. it works very well, you can actually feel your hair getting better with each wash.. and it smells fantastic too!
I would recommend Mane %26amp; Tail shampoo and conditioner. Its excellent for thick dry hair. It makes it mangeable, and full of moisture and shine.

Good Luck
The best thing for you to do is track down a haridresser supply store in your local area. They will be able to assess and assist you with your hair and by purchasing these products you will be doing your hair a favour and wallet too.
i 've got the same problem, well try a dove shampoo or conditioner as it contains least number of chemicals as well as compared to other brands and also been recomended by certain doctors.
one thing to remember when buying shampoos is that when you wash your hair despite thekind you use there will be a thivk residue on your hair ant it is good to switch your types up every week to get rid of that and you shuld notice a diference in the dullness of your hair with just that technique

now as far as kinds go i have thick fine dull curly hair... the best that has worked for me is the suave moisturizing line that is supposed to be like humectress by nexxus and is cheaper than half that of nexxus or paul mitchell and even herbal essence:) another line that i have been likeing recently is the new sunsilk line use a shampoo for shine in that line :) i dont recomend pantene pro- v for hair even tho a shine may appear it is b/c it is applying plastic coating to your hair ( it is one of the chemicals in it ) and can actually damage your hair more.... hot wax also damages hair more than it helps and shouldn't be done esp to thinning hair or super thick b/c the hair's breakage and frizzy qualities...

another good tip is to not completely rinse out all the conditioner you use in your hair... if you dont it conditions deeper and then also protects your hair from uv rays that may dull your hair's color and dry it out :)

and have you tried the f/x brand styling gels and sprays... try the anti frizz serum in that line its 4 $ but worth it :)

hope some of this may help you :)
try tremesse it like 5 buck and works great and smells great !!!! good luck!!!!
Hi!

I would say within your budget the L'Oreal line is good. A better idea then a shampoo for your hair is a deep conditioning treatment. You can find those for cheap to expensive. There are some quality ones at Walmart even. Deep conditioning will help prolong the life of your hair and make it vibrant therefor you will not need such a heavy moisturizing shampoo.

But like I said, L'Oreal makes a good shampoo/conditioner line. Whatever you chose, try to wash everyother day to let the natural oils penetrate your hair shaft and use a natural boar bristle brush.

Good luck!!!
The new Herbal Essence Quench It is the best I have dry think VERY curly hair
I have the same problem and they say you should switch shampoo every time you run out. I use herbal essence and V-05 and every now and then I'll throw in some Pantene even though they say Pantene isn't good for your hair. So I just switch between those three. Make sure you use conditioner with every wash.
