What type of shampoo and conditioner is really good for curly dry hair, but not really expensive?

I have used pantene pro v on a daily basis for years and have recently heard it is not good because it causes build up. I have been having a problem with a lot of breakage. I don't want to have to spend more than $8 each on shampoo and conditioner (Currently pay about 6/7 each on the pantene big bottles and they last me the whole month). Any suggestions?? I know it's not good to brush wet hair as well, but are there any good products to help with the frizz/volume/poofiness that dry brushing causes? What type of shampoo and conditioner is really good for curly dry hair, but not really expensive?

umm i think its pantene provie cause i also havy dry hair and its good and cheep its just for 3拢 a bottle Report Abuse

Well I hate to break it to you, but drugstore crap is cheap for a reason. It is all really bad for your hair: containing really harsh chemicals and wax. Yes, Pantene is the worst, but you are not going to get anything much better at a drugstore. Aussie has less of the chemicals and wax, but it is still junk. All drugstore shampoo is too harsh and is going to dry your hair out, and the conditioner is close to pointless. Brushing your hair wet is fine, I have no idea where you heard that.
Garnier Fructis is good.

Herbel essnces is good

Tresemme is great.

Look for bottles that say curl hydration or body or volume.

Hope i Helped!
