Do you use cheap shampoo or more expensive shampoo and why?

i use cheap champoo that only cost a dollar and another bottle that cost around $1.59 because there is something different about it that works for me. I have tried a few bottles that would cost a little more but they don't work for me. The really cheap bottles work ten times better for me.Do you use cheap shampoo or more expensive shampoo and why?
i use cheap stuff. why spend more money when the cheap stuff works exactly the same??Do you use cheap shampoo or more expensive shampoo and why?
I use the mid-range stuff. I have tried the super expensive stuff and the cheap stuff and the mid-range stuff. I found that the cheap stuff was bad for my hair and there wasn't much difference between the really expensive and the not too expensive/middle of the road cost shampoo so I go with the mid range stuff. But that is just me. Go with what works best for you!
It really doesn't matter whether cheap or expensive...compare the ingredients--this is where your buck-to-body expense goes to. Price usually reflects the mind-set that if you pay more, you get better product--not so with hygienics or cosmetics...there's only so many ways to make ';soap';, just so many ways to get lips colored, or stop sweat, etc. And almost all of the products you purchase in grocers and drug stores contain formaldahyde, metals (in the colors), sulfates %26amp; sulfites--all carcinogens in one way or another.

Shampoos contain the same ingredients as body washes...do you imagine that the hair on your head is much different that that of your arms, legs, etc...Nay!!!

Sooo, with all that in mind...go cheap or go with natural, more common sense cleansing. I found that I can do both by buying hand-made french-milled natural soaps that use essential oils for scents...they last forever, smell wonderful but never over powering, and I get clean from head to toe with one aroma %26amp; one product. My hair %26amp; skin stay healthful in process...check them out at your local Natural Food store.

It takes 2 washings to get all the residues from other stuff out, but on the 3rd wash, you'll really see %26amp; feel the difference.

Good Journey!!!
The cheap ones have a lot more detergent in them and that can dry out your hair and it's not good for the condition of the hair in the long run, I use Panteen which costs about $5 to $7 a bottle, plus conditioner which is an extra $5 or $7, it is a bit pricy but I would not use any $1 ones. But if it works for you then that's great.
When I had long hair, I used Aussie.. It kept my hair very soft and shiny. Now, that I have shorter hair, I used tressemae ( however you spell it). My hair dresser actually said that was a good shampoo. I use the color treament kind b/c I have highlights and lowlights. They also have told me to only wash my hair when I really need to. And not to use hair dryer, let my hair dry on its own. I do straighten my hair, so I use a spray in my hair that helps protect while helping to straighten.
hey

i use herbal essences. Its like $8 and smells yummy and works fabulous because it really cleans your hair. If there was ever an expensive shampoo that came out that really did do everything it promised id buy it, but so far every shampoo ive tried has said ';SLEEK STRAIGHT HAIR IN 3 WASHES'; or ';BRIGHTEN YOUR COLOUR'; and my hair is still frizzy and dull. SO i see no point in spending lots of cash.

lol
I've used a wide variety of shampoos, trying to find the best one. Cheap never worked. My hair was always flat and greasy looking. I now use Nexxus. Its the best! My hair has body without blow drying it and it never looks greasy. It all depends on you hair. Everyone has different tectures and oils so you have to just use what works. Price should not be the main factor.
I use Dove shampoo its about $6 for the shampoo and $6 for conditioner i'm not sure if you consider that a lot, but it works good for me i never liked V05 (cheap brand of shampoo) and suave never liked any of them they always made my hair rough feeling
I use the more expensive stuff, because the cheaper stuff is full of some ingredient (the name of which I forget) that is basically just soap like body soap and only serves to clog up your scalp and hair follicles with crap.
I use organic and natural products......I usually compare prices and values before i choose.....I avoid all cheap and comercial shampoos...Their full of toxins, chemicals, additives, etc.....Most contain the ingredient Amonium/Sodium Laureth Sulfate....a foaming agent thats been known to cause hair loss....
Cheap is fine. The cost really has no difference at that price. Once compared 3$ to a 20$

No difference. Big rip off unless you buy it and use it continuously.
I use really expensive shampoo, because I have REALLY thick hair that has to be wahed twice everytime I wash it. The bottle I buy is 35.95, and one bottle last about 1 month.
its on and off- my moms friend is a hairdresser and will occasionally give us the stuff thats like $30 for both shampoo and conditioner but when thats gone alot of times its back to $4 shampoo or conditioner
I can use the super cheap brand, but recently I switched to T/Gel because I have a super sensitive scalp, and it's been making it feel a lot better =)
i use dove so i guess its average in cost -- i use it because my daughter has eczema and it was recommended by her doctor -- no sense in buying two different shampoos.
I use all different shampoo and I change it every time... Pantene, Sunsilk, Marc Anthony, etc....

My hair gets dry when I use one shampoo all the time but it seems to pep up when I change it up.
I use cheap shampoo - Cause the gas price is making me buy cheap stuff so I don't go Bankrupt!

SERIOUSLY! It's ridiculous! I can't pay for this!
I only use color vive- my hair is very fine- and it works----but i believe -just because it cost more doesn't make it better-
I use really cheap gels, I have really curly hair and I swear it works better then the ';good'; stuff.
I like Suave coconut shampoo and conditioner, its all the same to me.
i use herbal essence because it smells nice and makes my hair soft and healthy considering i straighten it everyday
WELL I ALTERNATE, BUT I GOTTA ASK DO U REALLY GO 2 WKS W/O WASHING UR HAIR? I CANT GO FOR MORE THAN EVERY OTHER AT THE VERY LEAST!!
expensive. because im worth it

also it is better for your hair
I used to use Suave and had gorgeous hair. Now I use Pantene and love it too.
i use herbal essences idk..is that expensive
Never touch the stuff.
Priced somewhere in t he middle. I like it because it does not dry my hair out.
I use Sleek and its expensive and I really love the way it smells!!!!
i use cheap cuz i take a shower like every day and i go through it a lot a lot a time!!!!
